How to Upload an Existing Avorion Save To Your Server

This tutorial will guide you through the process of uploading an existing galaxy save file to your Avorion server.

Danger

This will delete or overwrite any progress you have made on the server.

Finding Your Local Avorion Save File

    On your keyboard, press Windows Key + R and enter this:

    %appdata%\Avorion\galaxies
  2. 2

    Each folder in here is a galaxy save. Find the one you want to migrate and copy the entire folder.

server.ini
galaxy.db

Uploading Your Avorion Save to Your Server

    Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Files.

  3. 3

    Navigate to /galaxy/.

  4. 4

    Upload your local galaxy save folder.

    galaxy
    YourGalaxySaveYour uploaded galaxy save folder
    server.ini
    galaxy.db
    players
    ..

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

  6. 6

    Under Advanced, edit Galaxy Name to match the name of your uploaded save folder.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Note

Make sure the Galaxy Name field matches the name of your uploaded save folder.
