How To Restore Automatic Hytale Server Backups

Hytale automatically creates a backup of your Hytale server save files every 30 minutes. This means if there is a failed update or a bug, you're able to restore to a previous time, giving you access to saved data in case something goes wrong.

The recommended method for restoring your Hytale server with minimal effort and risk.

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Find the Boot Mode setting and change it from Normal to Recovery Mode.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.
  5. 5
Look for the time you want to restore from and enter a number into the console to restore that backup.
  6. 6
Change the server Boot Mode back to Normal, then click Save & Restart to apply your changes.
