This guide will show you how to whitelist your Project Zomboid server so that only approved players can connect.

Enabling The Whitelist

Access the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Project Zomboid server.

In the sidebar, go to File Manager.

Navigate to .cache/Server/pzserver.ini.

Find Open= and set it to false.

Start your server.

With Open= set to false, players can no longer create accounts on their own. You will need to create user accounts manually by using the server console.

Adding Players

Access the Game Host Bros Panel and select your Project Zomboid server.

Go to Console.

Type adduser username password, replacing username and password with the player's desired credentials.
