How To Upload an Existing StarRupture Save To Your Server

This tutorial will guide you through the process of uploading an existing world save file to your StarRupture server.

Finding Your Local StarRupture Save File

    Open your Steam games library, right-click StarRupture, and select Manage → Browse Local Files.

    Navigate backward to Steam → userdata → (Your Steam ID) → 1631270 → remote → Saved → SaveGames.
  3. 3
    Copy the save folder you want to upload. Each save contains a .met and .sav file.

Uploading Your StarRupture Save to Your Server

    Access the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your StarRupture server.

    In the sidebar, go to File Manager.

    Navigate to /StarRupture/Saved/SaveGames and create these folders if they don't already exist.

    Upload your local save folder.

    Inside your uploaded folder, rename the .met and .sav files to AutoSave0.met and AutoSave0.sav.

    In the sidebar, go to Server Options.
  7. 7
    Set Session Name to match your uploaded folder name. And Ensure Load Saved Game is enabled.

    Start your server.
