How to Configure Your Terraria Server

In this guide, we will show you how to edit every setting on your Terraria server.

This guide covers basic configuration through our game panel and detailed configuration by manually editing the config.txt file.

Basic Server Configuration

Basic settings such as, Max Players, Server Type, Difficulty, and more can be configured directly in our game panel. Here are the steps for basic configuration:

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Edit the setting you want to change.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Manual config.txt Configuration

If you want to configure advanced settings not included in Settings, you can manually edit the config.txt file on your server. This gives you detailed control over server settings.

Note

Settings in the config.txt file that begin with a # character are disabled. To enable these settings, remove the # character from the beginning of the line.

Each setting will also include a helpful description of what it does.

    Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Files.

    Open config.txt

    Adjust your desired settings and then click save.

    Start your server.
