Many important things in Ark Survival Evolved require administrator permissions. You can do things such as enable flight, use the in-game admin panel, manage players, and much more.
Here is how to add admins to your Ark Survival Evolved server.
Setting an Admin Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and open your Ark Survival Evolved server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Look for
Admin Passwordand then type the password you want. - 4Go back to the console page, and then restart your server.
Make Yourself an Admin in Ark Survival Evolved
- 1Open Ark Survival Evolved and connect to your server.
- 2Press
Tabtwice to open Console. - 3Type
enablecheats [YourAdminPassword]. - 4You may test with
cheat fly; to disable this, typecheat walk.
Whitelisting Admins With AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt
If you don't want to manually add yourself as an admin through the in-game console, here's how you can set yourself as an admin in the game files so you'll automatically become one as soon as you join!
- 1Connect to your server.
- 2Open the larger Console by pressing
Tabtwice. - 3To find your Ark ID, type
whoamiin the console, then copy your ARK ID. - 4Log in to Bropanel.
- 5In the sidebar, go to
Files. - 6Create the file
AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txtinShooterGame/Saved/. - 7List the Ark IDs (one per line) of the players you wish to set as admin.
- 8Restart your server.

Did you know? There's also an admin panel in-game; the command to use it is showmyadminmanager.
