How to Create a Map Cycle on Your Counter-Strike Global Offensive Server

Creating custom map cycles is an important step of customizing your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive server. This guide will show you how to create your own map rotation.

Editing mapcycle.txt

Follow these easy steps to begin configuring a map rotation:

    Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  2. 2
    In the sidebar, go to Files and enter csgo.
  3. 3
    Edit mapcycle.txt, then click save.
  4. 4
    Start your server.

The maps that get added to this file are found in /csgo/maps/.

If you're using SourceMod, we also recommend copying the contents of your mapcycle.txt file to maplists.txt.
