How to Disable Anti-Cheat on Your 7 Days To Die Server

This guide will show you how to disable EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) on your 7 Days To Die server and game client. This is required for most 7 Days To Die mods to work properly.

Disabling EAC on Your Server

    Log in to the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your 7 Days To Die server.

    In the sidebar, go to Server Options.
  3. 3
    Under Advanced, set EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) to false.
  4. 4
    Start your server.
Note

Players connecting to your server must also have EAC disabled on their game client to connect.

Disabling EAC on Your Game Client

    Open Steam.
  2. 2
    Go to Library.
  3. 3
    Click Play on 7 Days to Die.
  4. 4
    Select Launch game without EAC.

If you don't get a launch prompt after clicking play, you can re-enable it like this:

    Open Steam.

    Go to Library.
  3. 3
    Right-click 7 Days to Die and select Properties.
  4. 4
    Under General, find Selected Launch Option and set it to Ask when starting game.
  5. 5
    Click Play on 7 Days to Die and choose Launch game without EAC.
