How to Enable or Disable Monsters on Your Minecraft Server

The spawn-monsters setting controls whether hostile mobs like zombies, creepers, and skeletons appear naturally in your world. Set to false for a peaceful building experience without combat.

This is what you do if you want to enable or disable monster spawning on your Minecraft server.

Enabling or Disabling Monsters

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files.

Open server.properties, set spawn-monsters= to true or false, and then click save.

Start your server.

Note

Setting spawn-monsters=false will only prevent hostile mobs from spawning naturally, making the game more peaceful while still allowing friendly animals to spawn.
