How to Change Your Minecraft Server Version

Many mods and plugins are only compatible with certain Minecraft versions. In order to run older game versions and plugins, you'll have to change the version of your Minecraft server. This is what you do if you need to change your Minecraft server version.

Here are the server types you can install from Bropanel:

Changing Minecraft Server Version

    Log in to Bropanel and select your Minecraft server.

    On the Overview page, click Change Version and pick the server type you want.
  3. 3
    Select Delete and reinstall for a fresh installation.
  4. 4
    Choose the version you want to install.

Danger

Changing the version will replace your existing server files. Download a Backup first if you have anything you want to keep!

Note

If you have a modpack installed, changing the version through this menu will replace the modpack and wipe its files. To switch to a different modpack, use the Modpacks tab in the sidebar instead.
