Enabling Hardcore Mode on a New World
- 1Access the Game Host Bros panel and
Stopyour Minecraft server. - 2In the sidebar, go to
File Manager. - 3Open
server.properties, sethardcore=totrueand click save. - 4Delete your existing world folder to generate a new hardcore world.
- 5Start your server.
Enabling Hardcore Mode on an Existing World
To convert an existing world to hardcore, you need to edit the world's level.dat file.
- 1Access the Game Host Bros panel and
Stopyour Minecraft server. - 2In the sidebar, go to
File Managerand navigate to your world folder. - 3Download the
level.datfile. - 4Upload the file to an NBT editor website (such as irath96's NBT Editor).
- 5Find the
hardcorevalue and change it to1, then save your changes. - 6Upload the newly modified
level.datfile to your existing world folder, replacing the original file. - 7Start your server.
