Unlike many other games, Vintage Story servers require a server reinstallation to update to newer versions. This process won't remove your world, mods, or your serverconfig.json file.

Updating Your Vintage Story Server

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Find the Release branch setting and ensure it's set to stable.

Find the Release version setting and ensure it's set to latest.

Click Reinstall in the top-right and confirm.

Your server will now be updated to the latest stable version of Vintage Story.
